Getting Around

How Guests Usually Explore

Most of Udupi and Malpe's landmarks sit within a 20-minute radius of the villa. Guests typically hire a local auto or cab for a half-day loop covering the Krishna Matha, Malpe jetty and St. Mary's Island ferry, saving Kaup's sunset and Manipal's cafes for a separate evening.

Ask our caretaker for the current ferry timings to St. Mary's Island — they run on tide and weather, and knowing the right slot saves a wasted trip.
